Careful! Most water clarifiers are flocculants, which will bind to the gills of fish. While they might not be harmful at the recommended rates, you just stated that you overdosed, so a large water change may be in order, coupled with fresh carbon in your filter run for at least 24 hours before you add fish to the tank.
