I want to get the Asian upside down catfish out of the 75 gallon tank bcuse th 75 gallon tank is getting dirty fast and i can't fit a hiding place in my 75 gallon tank because the fish need room sorry if my post is hard to understand

The pearsei cichlid is alone in a 65 gallon tank he is starting to recover thanks evryone for all tghe great advice

As madness stated about catfish is true, most catfishes I have seen are mean and carnivores. My father use to have 7 Channel Catfishes and they will eat any other fish that is in the tank that are much smaller.I would keep the light off for a while at least, so the catfish doesn't try to attack the pearsei cichlid.I am not 100% sure if Pearsei cichlids are highly aggressive though.I have seen different scenarios where a channel catfish has eaten a much smaller Texas Cichlid that was 7 inches or I have seen a 15 inch Jaguar put that same troublemaker Catfish in its place with out hesitating to attack.

i moved my catfish to a other tank with a 12 inch pleco and a 14 inch oscar i am movinng the catfish to a other tank tomorrow

I think you should have every base covered between this thread and your last one. You have already separated the cat from the Pearsei. That is a good start. Just as I suggested yesterday and Clockwork has suggested today, water changes will help with your injured fish. Keeping the lights off is another good idea. The best thing to do now is just leave the Pearsei alone. He is stressed and injured. You don't want to make things worse by constantly bothering him or the tank. BTW if you have another question about this subject, just bump the thread. You don't have to create a new thread every time you have a question or comment on a current subject. Good luck.

Well, at least you moved it out the tank then.I don't trust catfishes honestly, but my brother had a featherfin catfish that never bothered any other fish and use to interact a little bit with my brother.
