you cant really say that... on moderate bio loads ive done only one change a week and was fine... at one point i had to do 3 or 4 50% a week... not knowing the tank or its params you cant say a water change once a week isnt enough... my friend pond is so well established he was only doing a water changed every month maybe 2.... it was topped off as needed but that was it..

I agree

i only do waterchanges once a week on my tank and my rays are breeding....

was just throwin it out there... better worded- weekly water changes might not be enough....

thats a better way to put it;)

This honestly doesn't sound anything to me like ich. Six months, salt, and increased temp should have cured it if it was in fact ich.

What type of rays are these?

Hi everybody the rays are p14,they are around 3 years old now,my husband was very much into them but we have parted now and i have kept them, hey i can live without him but not my stingrays they are my babies.I replaced the bulbs on the uvs 4 weeks ago ,Vamptrev thankyou for your pictures they do look like that,i will gat a camera tomorow as havent had a chance today and will post pictures,i will add more salt for now and take the temp up higher and start doing 2 water changes a week.thankyou to you all for your help.
