FIRST NO animal is a gift! Second you did EVERYTHING WRONG! It apears to me that you didnt read a thing of that amazing web page your good friend coura has so heartly posted for you! Third even then your iguana was probably VERY sick when you got her=your boy friend doesant know how to properly chose a healty iguana! So you got it all wrong from the begining! Dont however go away, were here to help and nothing else, BUT you need to do ALOT of reserch BEFORE you get any more pets and all things considered you should revaluate what your doing with your current pets before something bad happens to them. All we made and make mistakes but please learn from them, preferably from other peoples mistakes and avoid doing your own.

It sounds like Metabolic Bone Disease (I think that's what it's called). Do you have proper UV lighting? They also need calcium and phosphorus in a 2:1 ratio. High humidity, too.
Besides, fruit should only be fed as a treat every couple of weeks. You should feed them dark, leafy greens. Stuff like radish leaves, dandelion greens, etc.

Yeah, once the iguanas start acting funky its REALLY hard to get them healthy again. It just sucks how people buy animals without doing just a little bit a research beforehand.
