Its a bog plant, it really should do fine without fertilizers. In fact, I believe that things like excel can melt it. If its not doing well in the substrate, try floating it to let it rebound. It should grow readily for you. Sometimes bog plants don't like the warmer end of tropical temps.

my water temperature is 16 degrees Celsius.is it enough? I hope it will be growing.Last time they got brown and covered in algae.I throwed them away :(

hey guys,i have a question. With my lighting setup [36w,6500K] can i grow Cabomba caroliniana too? I need more plants,so please respond.Any advice is welcome. Thanks!

Yes that is new growth. yes you coul dlikely grow a camboba as well as hornwort, hygros (especially willow or giant), some crypts, ferns, mosses, anubias, ambulia.

sunset hygro is beatiful and grows like a weed. The only reason I kept it is beacuse it grows so fast that I don't have to buy veggies for my turtle any more.
