My torch coral has 2 heads on the one frag and one head is open and all is good but the other has completely retracted and has been covered in a while slimey coat all over the opening, what is this?

Sorry, cant help you because I have no corals, but in time some one will help. If I was u send a private message to mr.reef he is very knowledgeable in cases like these also try The Canuck he just has a fowlr setting I think but may have ideas.
It sounds like it is on it's way out. What coral is next to it. Sounds like it may have been stung by another coral. I had the same problem with a rainbow enchinata acan stinging my torch.

It's not near anything apart from its other head, ive allowed it alot of room around it to stop it from getting stung/stinging my other corals
