well dont lower temp actually raise it to around 85 fish disease breeds best at lower temps that closer resemble the natural water temperatures raise to 85, add aquarium salt, pimafix wouldn't hurt and is all natural but like a secret weapon to fish disease and dont let it fight with other fish the lip locking can destroy the lower jaw and some get duck lip

I used to own a fh that gotten duck lip from breeding. After breeding I kept him in a 10 gal with no substrate to spit around and no meds and he recovered perfectly fine. Just remember, what works for one, might not work for another. Hope this helps.
