Help, Please...

I have 2 RBP's, one is about 5" and the other one is 6-7". I've had them both for about a year now. Two days ago I added a 3rd one. He's about 4". This morning I notice the new one had his back and top fins bitten. Is that ok or should I be worry that the other 2 would eat him? I'm thinking their just trying to test him and show him who's boss. What do you guys think?

With that kind of wound, I would consider seperating them already
 
The 1st two that I had did the same thing to each other in the past and once in a while they would do again. The fins grew back and they never really took a bite of each other body, just their fins.
 
probably just teaching the new kid who's boss, if the wound isn't serious you can keep them in there but keep an close eye just in case something serious happen.
feed them well and keep the water temperature couple degree lower than usually that will help reduce the aggression a bit while they getting use to each other.
in the end its really your call to separate them or not, eventually you will add it back in and might have to deal with this all over again.
are they the ones in your avatar? they look nice, have great color, post more pix of them if you can.

+1 what jp said. since you've had them before you already know how quicky those wounds will heal up.
