That sucks man. This is the terrible part of fish keeping.I had wanted one for a while then finally got him then got really attached to him and then within an hour he is gone.:(

Yeah It's a hard hobby. People underestimate the difficulties in the hobby. I have plenty of buddies that think you just put the fish in some water and feed it and it's as easy as that.... It's hard for people to grasp that they are our pets and you do get attached to them. It's a live and learn hobby and hopefully you have better luck with your next poly! sorry for your loss man >.<

Ya when you tell someone your fish died they just laugh and say "its just a fish dont be a baby"But they dont know the amount of work you put in to keep them healthy and during that time you start to learn about each fishes personality and everything they love and hate.I think I might not get a poly for a while. I have been thinking about trying my hands at making a plywood tank and make a decent size tank then I will probably get another one then maybe a bigger species to.

Yeah my fish get more love and attention than I do ahaha. I'm always more worried about what they're eating that day before I even eat. When you raise a fish from a small little baby into a nice size adult it's a great feeling of satisfaction. and a plywood tank would be nice. Get a good footprint to fit some really nice polys or whatever else you choose to put in them :p wish you the best of luck!
