Hi
I have a 125 gallon tank with many plecos such as 2 L183 starlight bushy nose plecos, an L600 pleco, a L97 pleco, and many other ancistrus. Today when i fed my fish it looked as if there was a slime coating on one of the L183's fins. And the other L183 has it too. So i look at the L600 and see different looking things growing on its head. Any advice would be greatly appreciated even if it is just an educated guess or based on past experience with a similar thing.
I have circled some of the lumps in red on the pictures.

did you add new fish to the tank recently? I would bump tank temp up to about 88 and add salt. should keep it at 88 for about a week or so.

88 may be a little extreme. We don't know all the fish in the tank...they may not be able to handle it that high.

Someone just posted something similar over on PlecoPlanet and it was suggested it might be Columnaris?

I'd start treating with a broad spectrum anti-bac med first...if it is columnaris and its showing physical signs I would prepare for the worst. Not to be a downer but its not an easy disease to treat. Start with kanamycin as suggested, I'd also suggest a methylene blue dip bath. Its tricky with plecos being they are sensitive to meds.

I lost the L183's and the L600 and L97 are in a 10 gallon with a gold gourami because i read they can eat fungus off fish and eat hydra. I can move the gold gourami if it is needed because it was one dollar. I am using a broad spectrum medicine as suggested and it seems to be getting worse. I will try to post pics later today. Thank you for the advice.

The out of water pics are from when he was being moved to a hospital tank.
