I got my Endli Poly about 10 days ago and I still have never seen him eat. I have tried a few different types of sinking pellets but he hasn't gone for any of it. I even throw in a few right before the lights go out, but I think the other inhabitants might be getting them.

Any advice on types of food or techniques for feeding???

He is still pretty small, only about 4 inches.
I see there is a sticky about this, but I haven't had any success.
Should I try placing the food right in front of him?

i had this same problem intill i put some food in at night and then he ate it...

dont worry about it, no bichirs will starve itself to death, it will eventually eat the food you give him. Your endli perhaps used to eat live food, so it takes sometimes to adapt with the new food.

I know I'm probably worrying too much but he is a new fish and I would really like to see him eat. I will probably look into something other than pellets this weekend.

dont worry about it mines took 2 weeks til he started eating in my tank!

They seem to really like earthworms you can cut them up in small pieces. :)

I tried beef heart on Friday and he finally ate a little bit. It seems to be a little more settled in, but I'm hoping he can eventually take pellets.
