Give a couple of days to see if things improve. If bump didn't go down then place poly in a separate aquarium and treat with Epsom Salt.

I'm a newbie. Should I just give him a epsom salt bath for a couple of minutes or just keep him in a epsom salt added tank for a couple of days?

Add to the tank. Works better when it’s being going thru the fish’s gut for a long period time than a bath. Magnesium sulfate is safe to add to ur main tank.
