Snookn21 has had jaguar cats (~10-12) for a while but now gone. They were $50 each. $130 sounds excessive to me. You could contact him to see if he can get more.
They were 85 but with shipping it brought it up. Do you guys think I should give it another go? If I do I think I'll keep it separate for a little, try and let it grow, and also gives me time to let some of the others grow and maybe move them up.
If you know how to avoid this scenario, why not? I so wanted to get a group of 5 from Snookn for $200 but didn't have the funds available at the time.
That's the thing idk which fish it was for sure. And that sucks, I know the feeling, and me being younger, once I get the money I have to convince my older sister to let me order the fish lol.
Try Jeff Rapps, thats where I orderd my two from. Still battling a serious case of ich though. Some part of me still thinks bacterial infection may be involved.
If you can keep them separate and can remotely afford them (that's where I usually stand with fish purchases, can't ever justify the spending really but what the hell life's for living!) then go for it mate, get the stock and then work longer on accessing who the culprit was. Tiger barbs have a bad rep for being nippy, yours have been cannabilistic so that can only lean towards being all out butchers of other species
