help red tail

i was going to order a rd tail catfish from shark aquarium.. i was going to order the 2.5 inch. but it says below it . it is wild from peru. couls someone let me know what that means . instead of just saying regular red tail

wild caught means someone went to south america and caught it and brought it here to be sold....


captive bred means someone made a mommy and daddy catfish do it and they gave birth to him



are you sure your wantin to get somethin that huge? they grow bigger than people sometimes....requres lots of knowledge and responsibility.....
