by it now thats a good deal especially if it is wild

It is one of the fish that people cant give away when it either eats their existing stock, or out grows their tank - mostly it is both.....

They are cute when young and small - thats it and it dont last long....save your money and ask around for a free one....plenty available around here

I wish I had the space for a red tail. They need a tank that's atleast 12'x6' for an adult redtail.

Do the wild caught versus captive bred RTCs have any noticeable differences?

i noticed that my wild caught has 4 wiskers on the bottom my other 2 that were bred did not

They don't breed these cats, not even overseas, all are wild caught. And the peru thing was kinda self explanatory, do the math.

Your shovelnose is going to eat him. No doubt. Put him in a raising tank, then move him up when he's bigger, say 5 inches. RTC grow fast won't take long before they're equal size

at the moment i will be keeping him in a 150 with my 12 inch shovelnose
