My jardini is very sick. I have no idea what is wrong with him. I went to work one night and came home in the morning to find my Jardini white as a ghost and his scales looking like they're rotting off. I have put aquarium salt in the water and I have added QuIck Cure for Ick and Protozoan parasites. Does anyone know what this illness might be, and what I can use to cure it? This is the second day he has looked like this.

that looks like a fungus to me... im not exactly sure u should ask lupin. he helped me before!

Seems like scale rot to me, or yes some sort of fungus. Add aquarium salt, raise temperature to 84-86F and add some stress coat to help replenish its slime coat. Do a 40% water change every other day and repeat the salt until its better.

You could also try and use Pimafix. I find both methods work quite well. Good Luck

WHATS UR PH,AMO,NIT????

Rock Salt & raising temperature a bit would help cure him.
Anyways nice aro & wish him speedy recovery.:)

my jardi suffered from a similiar conditon last year. it was actually alot worse (was away from home for a week). as everyone stated above me: salt bath, melafix, raised temp, added some blackwater to help the slimecoat recover, and w/c (i actually did a 40% w/c soon as i saw how bad he was). he made a full recovery. hope everything works out ok. how is his appetite?

All my water parameters checked out fine. I checked them as soon as a I noticed he was sick. I also did about a 40% water change before I added the salt and medicine.

treat it with tetratcylyn asap
