Turn up to 84-86, 82 is too low, and add salt along with mela and pima.

maybe it lost some scales from some sort of stress and then fungus grew over it. do daily 20-40% water changes, raise up temperature to at least 82 and add sprinkle some salt in there. repeat for a few weeks until it recovers from it. that jardini is counting on u.

scales dont get loss from stress, they get loss from physical damage. When treating with salt, you should do water changes every OTHER day, not everyday as the salt needs to work and you would need twice the amount of salt which is already needed. 82 is too low. DO NOT SPRINKLE SALT IN, it will BURN your aro on contact, mix it with water in a bucket first until it is fully dissolved, then pour it into your tank...

Totally agree!

Raise temp no more than 1 deg an hour. Salt (Aquarium/epsom 50/50)to 0.1% (that 380g per 100 gals) you can go to 0.3% (1000g per 100gals) add this slowly aswell, best with water changes. Looks like drospy or pineapple effect( for aros) can become very dangerous, if you dont get the upper hand.

Best of luck!
