help setting up return lines.

Im setting up a 165 gallon tank and will be running my return through my middle overflow box. Its going to go through the overflow then split into 2 using all PVC. Question is should i go 1" PVC then to 3/4" when it splits or just go 3/4" all the way. BTW pump is a Rio HF32 (1920 GPH @ 0ft)

I would do 1 inch then split to 3/4 inch.

ok im went with 1" split into 2 3/4". here are some pics i haven't connected the 1" bulkhed to the 1" T yet just to give u a picture of what it will look like.

I would have used 1 x 3/4 slip bushings rather the slip x female, 2 less fittings & doesn't have the neck down like the inside of a male adapter.
