I'm guessing male had touble like this with my texas and what I did was an eggcrate divider for a couple months and now they are fine they even tried to breed through the divider a couple times before I let them together

I placed her in a tank by herself and she is digging gravel around a plate. Do females do this? My males don't dig when they're in there own tank. I hope she is a female I really want to breed her some how. She has nice pearls and markings with a nice red base. Pics don't show the red because she is hurt a bit herself.

Hmm... To my understanding its mostly males that do all of the digging?? Mines a male and diggs like a dog!
