The first three look like a female JD. Interesting how red it looks. I'd like to see a side profile.

I know and the first three are the same fish but it' super red for some reason and has almost no pattern on the body past the gills i only paid 30 though I don't know if that's good or not on jds

It' near impossible to get a good picture of it but it doesn't have spots which leads me to believe male but it' just so dang mean used to try to beat a rose queen double it's size I had to get rid of the rose queen though

It's a female then but she' got so much blue one her at such a small size it had me second guessing myself the entire time I've had it

Yeah dovii are very good at tricking you, all about fin spotting until 8"

Well it' about 3 or 4 but thick and vicious looking but I do have a small male thats about 1.5 to 2 that' getting his spots and blues really nicely hopefully they pair up

JD is a female. 30$ is steep, these guys are usually more like 10$. But yours is a nice large female. So I wouldn't lose sleep over it.
