help sexing a jack dempsey

The fins do make it look like a femal to me, but i'm no pro.

My male JD is full grown, and his dorsal and anal fins are much much longer than that. They have small tails that extend to the end of his body.

I would say male. The biggest giveaway with a Jack Dempsey is the gill plate. The males will have less blue spotting on the lower portion of the plate. The females tend to have a lot of blue spotting on the lower portion of the gill plate. It may even be so heavily spotted so as to look solid blue.
That said, the only 100% positive way to tell is to vent the fish.
