Help sexing dovii cichlid

Well if I was looking at this like I would a flowerhorn I would say male, as the vent looks to be either the same size or close to the same as the anus does. Hopefully someone that keeps dovi will chime in with their own 2 cents on the subject.
I'd say male also. But post a side shot of the fish. If it has freckles in the unpaired fins and all over body then it's a male.
