Help sexing JD

Which one would you guys keep if you had to choose between those two?

I'd say the second one. I really like how the red stands out more especially on the tail

Heres the way I sex them. Males have more pearling/spangling and more beefier looking. Females have less pearling/spangling, are more slender, and have lots of blue on the gill plates, looks as though she has a blue beard.

Both pics of yours look male to me.

Heres what a female would look like. Pay attention to the the overall coloring and notice the amount of blue on the gills.

Both are nice but I would definately stick with #2.

Females have more blue markings on there lower gill plates.
