thanks for the help guys, i guess i'll just watch and see what happens. he is swimming around more today than he was yesterday, and definitely at least trying to eat. who knows, maybe he'll pull through
I had an A. clavas that would always dislocate his jaw and his mouth would stay wide open for a few days and he would finally work it back in place, so maybe that is what is going on with your comp.
yeah, the more i look at him the more obvious it is that that is what has happened. the upper jaw is actually extended over the lower jaw. like i said, he's still at least trying to eat and moving around pretty good so maybe he'll work it back out. is this a common problem with these types of fish? thanks honda
