They way the females eyes are looking it looks like they are getting ammonia burn. Lethargic jag's usually means you need to up your water changes. I would suggest for the next 10 days you change 30 percent of the water every second day. Add aquarium salt . If you are worried they have caught something I would do a 70 % water change and pick up some paraguard or API General cure . Take out any carbon if you have some and treat the tank. You can also soak their pellets in Epsom salt and get rid of any parasites that way but you have to do this for 10 days. First try a large water change and see how they react to that after an hour and then go from there . Good luck !

I'm with the rest I'd say its bad water quality. However without knowing your parameters it's a shot in the dark. Personally I do 50% 1x-2x per week which keeps my nitrates 10ppm or lower. That's with one single 9" male in a 75 with a thorough gravel vac. I'd guess your nitrates are pretty dang high with double the fish & only 30% per 2 weeks.

Plenty of fresh water is my go to. I would do qty=3 75% (or down to their fins) water changes each week for the next 2-3 weeks. Then I would do a minimum of 2x 50% or 1x 75% (or down to their fins) as my weekly schedule from there on out. I would also not overfeed & if it's possible soak my pellets in boyds vitachem for the next couple weeks.

If it's turns out to need meds they have you covered above. Just my 2.5 cents

I highly suggest you get a API master fresh water test kit, around 17 bucks on amazon. do the tests see where your water perams run and let that dictate what your WC schedule needs to be.

Those eyes may be a little cloudy but I cant tell if it's just the angle. Twice a month water changes is likely the root of the -A high protein diet.. in a small closed system needs fresh water regularly...
For now: Immediately do 20-25% -every other day for a week. Then twice weekly,, always..
You can get away with one a week, dont over feed the.. that's a biggie. Also: **When you clean your filters media -be sure not to wash it all in the sink.. bc that destroys the biological filter. Using fish tank water that's been transferred to a bucket, rinse some parts of the filter media in it -instead of chlorinated sink water. ..This way it gets cleans the major detritus but keeps the bacteria intact.
Let us know how it goes.
