HELP!! SNAKEHEAD FISH ISSUE'S

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
dont worry as long as it's swimming around. if it's floating at the upper surface most of the time then if wont last

i has been floating at the upper surface most of the time nw... :(... what do i do??...

do u have any plastic container ? those mini plastic aquarium ? if yes transfer your fish over add water from your existing tank (where u kept d fish now). during transfer do not scoop d fish with a net cos it might further injuired it. used a plastic bag to scoop it in. put water level right above the fish upper body only (do not add in alot of water in order for d fish to float and breathe easily) add in a oxgyen hose from the air pump or go to d LFS to get hold of aquaplus (see pic). it helps to heal the fish. good luck bro...

Thanks Bro... I will do it right away.. Thank u so much

I have got a bad newz...The SH did not survive... :(

my deepest condolence to you bro ..according to my fishing friends normally micro when caught by hooked and not carefully unhooked and transported back will not last. (the bigger the chances of surviving is very low) i have 1 experience before whereby i bought a 3kg dark greenish micro from a friend (caught by hook) brought it back and after 2 hours it just died. The most withstand snakehead caught by hooked will be channa straita. it's d most hardy fish among the channa species. I'm sure the LFS at your area do sell juvenile micro get it from there.

I gt myself a albino Oscar fish n i was also thinking 2 get channa striata...

based off what you said it sounds like you can catch these pretty regularly? Are you going to try it again? I think if you raised the temp and added some salt it might help with the healing too, epically if you are very careful taking the hook out and transportation to your tank, your chances would go up a lot.
