any of those will be fine. cleaners are cool because they stay out where you can see them. peps hide all the time. i have 12 in my tank and never see them. (they could be dead, but i see antennas at night) seriously look into harlequin shrimp they're awesome assuming you can afford to feed them a starfish once a month.

ha yeah idk about that. that might be a little out of my budget as far as feeding is concerned. Are the Blood Red's similar to the Peppermints being shy and hiding? Like I said in an earlier post, my strong point is Freshwater, but since I got a job at my LFS I have been learning a lot more about Saltwater and even some things on Freshwater I never knew (like how Mollies can be drip-acclimated to accept saltwater! apparently they clean hair algae real well).

Basically I just want a Shrimp that won't take over the tank and is peaceful to the Gramma and Scooter Blenny/Dragonet. I have snails and a hermit as well, but those I'm not too worried about because I could get them for free from work.

the fire shrimp are semi recluse. they hang out in over hangs but aren't nearly as shy as peps. i haven't every had one last very long. but i loved my cleaner shrimp. arrow crabs are cool too.

I may just pick up a Cleaner then. We have tons of them and we get them in decently cheap compared to most places. Always good to have something that will "clean" too lol

NEW STOCK LIST:
Royal Gramma (Gramma Loreto)
Red Scooter Blenny (Synchiropus Stellatus)
Scarlet Hermit Crab (Paguristes Cadenati)
Mexican Turbo Grazer Snail (Turbo Fluctuosa)
Astrea Snail (Astraea Tecta) [x2]

Return at least the blenny & the hermit crab; the turbo snail should also go at some point as they get too big for a 10 gallon (big ones tend to plow over rocks & corals).

The blenny isn't going to last very long even if you have it on something other than copepods as they tend to last less than six months in any non-mature aquarium due to the lack of copepods; these fish will not thrive at all on other foods and will just slowly starve to death.

Get dwarf blue leg hermit crabs are they're reef-safe and don't pick on the other inhabitants unless said inhabitants are dead or dying; they're a far safer choice than your current hermit crab which will make a meal out of the other inhabitants if it wants to.

I don't have any Corals and I only have one large piece of Reef Rock so I'm not worried about the Turbo. The Hermit Crab is iffy though because he is still somewhat small, but I do know these ones can be fiesty as they grow larger. I had a dwarf red leg and a dwarf blue leg hermit and they have both died. The Scarlet is the only one living still. I will try adding some copepods gradually for the Scooter to see how he does. If he doesn't look too good after a while then I will give him up before I let him die.
