I would thin out the gar number and maybe add 2 more aros....and what about a schoal of atf... vitatus or forskali?? and for the hell of it keep the tinfoils. add a drip system to the set up as well make life a lot easier...

right, forgot to mention the drip system. but by thinning out the gar #, how many would you suggest? And won't 4 arowana fight? and the acronym escapes me, but which fish is the atf?

Falcatus is what you should do. here is a picture of ewurms. They get around 12" but they grow slowwww and do best in groups of around 5-10. You could also do a group of Lima shovelnose as they get around 15-17" Max.

Personally I wouldnt add the 3 gar because they get big, and I wouldnt want to have to deal with trying to find them a new home when they are 5-6'. Also the inches of fish doesnt really mean anything bio wise.

Other then the gar everything else seems good, what kind of filter(s) are you going to run on this bad boy?
