The Caquetaia Myersi looks awesome! Mouth reminds me of a Red Bay Snook or Managuense.
Overall, I would prefer to keep the Festae over the GT and the only tank mate she seems to be bothered with is the GT. There is also a Vieja Argentea and a MidasXParrot in there and she completely leaves them alone (although i'm still selling them).
So now, I am thinking that I stick with your plan of having only 4-5 fish, but allowing the Festae to be the dominant or only Cichlid. In which case I then either try an Oscar, Datnoid, or look into the Caquetaia Myersi.
Anyone had success with a Female Festae and Oscar in a 100-150 Gallon aquarium (long term)? Datnoids? Etc...?
