Help Stocking my 135 Gallon

The Caquetaia Myersi looks awesome! Mouth reminds me of a Red Bay Snook or Managuense.

Overall, I would prefer to keep the Festae over the GT and the only tank mate she seems to be bothered with is the GT. There is also a Vieja Argentea and a MidasXParrot in there and she completely leaves them alone (although i'm still selling them).

So now, I am thinking that I stick with your plan of having only 4-5 fish, but allowing the Festae to be the dominant or only Cichlid. In which case I then either try an Oscar, Datnoid, or look into the Caquetaia Myersi.

Anyone had success with a Female Festae and Oscar in a 100-150 Gallon aquarium (long term)? Datnoids? Etc...?

Aren't ornate bichirs too big for a 135? I was looking at getting a bichir for my 150 and it seemed everything got too big aside from a Senegal.
Lots of bichirs you could get for a 150g besides sens. Maximum sizes and real world tank sizes are two different things. Some say even sens can get 16"... maybe a wild caught, but your lucky to even see a 12"+ sen. The ornate is a big boy with the potential size of 24" but real world aquarium sizes seem to be 20"-22" for exceptional ones but 18"-20" being more realistic.
