SLOW DOWN .................................................

Take a deep breath, do a 50 % water change and go to bed.
Tomorrow morning Post current water parameters. If it is 6-10 AM PST I will post back shortly. This isnt brain surgury , but, Ya gotta slow down.
Where in Canada are you ?

can i do a water change tmr??

o and i live in BC in canada

sorry i was a bit frustrated when I posted that.. i hope u dont get mad :irked: :(

Thanks for POSTING :)

Wow sounds like you're having a hard time with the cycle. I didnt read the whole thread but I was having the same problem until I got some gravel from an established tank and did a 30% water change every couple days. Hope you got it under control!

well it was already cycled yu see.. but then again it showed ammonia after a day or two causing mini cycle..
damn it

now my nitrates are gone all of a sudden.. it was 20ppm yesterday and today its 3 ppm???

also I am reading a tiny bit of nitrite.. hmm?

so

ammonia 1.0 ppm
pH 7.0 ppm
nitrite .1 ?
nitrate 3.0 ppm almost 0..

so its a mini cycle..

do you think my BB died while my pH increased soo quickly?

Because some one said that IF my bb died my nitrates wouldn't be so low

should I be worried about my nitrates being low?

also in the water change I Put my water conditioner in the tank before adding water, so should I still turn off my canister filters so I wont kill BB? will the BB last if i turn the filter off for 15 mins?

please answer!

There's A/the problem with this forum. If you didn't read the "whole thread" you don't know if you are having the same problem or not. Leave the poor guy alone. Nothing personal , but, what the hell ? Read the thread, then leave a message. If you didn't read the thread then how the hell do you know it's the same problem ? C'MON............

Totally agree. People do not read before they post, and most of the time the actual issue is solved in the middle of the thread, yet people still post when it is useless to.

did a water change yesterday so today update for everyone who wants to know:
pH 7.0
Ammonia .5
NITRITE ( a little bit ) .1??
nitrate 7.0 ppm

So thats good? I will do more w/c's when ammonia get to 1
