HELP! Thesis fish are sick! (Flukes?)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
If Dimilin is not available any organophosphates will work, Like Fenthion, Malathion, Trichlorfon, Masoten, Neguvon, Dipterex and Dylox. Most can be obtained at Home Depot (pesticide). Dimilin is the treatment of choice to treat branchiurian, crustacean and ergasiliid parasites.
PP is more for flukes and fungus which I do not believe you have and as Lupin mentioned it will burn their gills if not used properly.

ugh... nasty stuff... i've had the misfortune of having to dose our entire show system with that, no diving for 2 weeks, tanks looked nasty...
anyways

have you done a gill sample under a compound scope?
was there any hemorraghing in the muscle tissue?
this sounds and looks a lot like when our lookdowns got uronema.

your pod and ergasilus infestation doesn't seem too severe (not severe enough to be lethal IMO) but could have opened them up to secondary infection...
has whoever was looking after them said anything about flashing intensity or frequency?
