I agree 100%. small question though how does everyone here euthanize their suffering fish. I heard filling a zip lock bag with their tank water and letting it freeze in the freezer is a good fast painless way

i would euthanize that fish immediately i can't see any way the fish could survive that.
surely the fish must have been in a bad way for quite a while to end up like that.

It happened so fast....i left him for around 5 days when i came back...i saw him stop eating and theres some ulcers around his gill cover and there's white pus came out from the ulcher....

I cleaned the pus....and the next day...it swollen and getting worse....after 3 days...i try to touch his swollen face....and boom....i was shocked.....

I think its bacteri infection.....it happend to my green sev too...i treated with salt, heater, tetracycline, methlyene blue, internal bacteri drug, and all was useless....

I freezed him after that..coz i couldnt see him suffering huhu...

A few weeks ago i just set up a new tank....then i moved some fishes into the tank....(tetra, green sev, rotkiel, thib bar SD, semaprochilodus, etc2) aweek later i decided to move my albino sev too into the tank...maybe as a new comer and different environtment, he was a little bit stress and he didnt eat as much as in the previous tank....

I kept a red head tapajos too in the tank...and my rotkiel bullied him until he got stressed and hiding in a cave all the time....

Both stressed fish infected by this weird disease....the others don't
Beacuse of stress, decrease of immunity....and...it happened hiks2

I did, i gave iodine into the ulcher, and the next day it swollen until change his face structure (the mouth cant be closed) and getting worse
