Help training bullhead to eat sinking algae wafers

turn ur lights off when you feed him. my cats hate light, they just lay there like they're dead. as soon as the lights go off and led's come on they act crazy
I bought him some hikari freeze dried brine shrimp that comes in cubes. I just break off nice little chunks and he gobbles it right up like no other. My LMB won't touch the stuff though. It says it's a big color enhancer and it's full of vitamins. So currently hikari frozen brine shrimp and hikari algae wafers are the cats main diet. He's a big fatty and he loves it.
