happened to me too. You can use some sort of electrical tape and roll it around for couple rounds. That should fill the gap.

Then just add a metal clamp and use a screw driver to tighten the clamp. It works for me. And it is under a dollar.

It may setup the UV for under a dollar. However I highly recommend reducing the flow to 300-360 gph you can use a power head or any adjustable pump.... Really easy plumbing.
