dude if i were you i would have invested in hoth meds befor i even decided to get discus fish!. The utmost NO.1 cause of death in discus fish is Hoth and strikes at any time, when you least expect it. Can forgive you for the water change although when i get my discus tank after i get my marine tank next week ^_^ YEYEYEYEYE, ill be water changing 2wice a week. although maybe once a week for yours, i believe thos colours are common among wild pond bred discus? might be hardier somewhat.... but yea i just wanted to post, PLEASE GO AND BUY SOME HOTH MEDS PLEASE!!!! for your discus sake. think about it would you rather spend 30$ on a med which will save your fish in the unlikely case of a problem occuring or would you rather loose 150+$x(a)fish worth.
