HELP URGENT!!!!!!!!

okay im in a rush, so ill type in point form.

waterchange
gar fell, half metre
landed on back
still breathing
no visible damage
unable to keep upright
seems to still have control of all fins, but not using them

i've been holding it in the normal position, making sure it still breathes.
am i doing the right thing?
what else can i do?

--okay the full story. i said water change as i was rushing. i was buying the gar from a friend, but as we were allowing the gar into the bag(it was pretty big) it leaped off and landed back first in the water of the bag. it was then in a turbulent car ride for abt 15 mins. and then to my tank.

i guess it's bcos water parameter...
next time put some anti chlorine, and only change half to third-quarter of the water....
