Hmm. You think so. I don't want her to get hurt and hes still new and young. I ll let them dry run if anything and pump them up more and perhaps attemp them down the line. Thanks for advice though Nimal.

It looks like a female vent to me. So does the fish. It looks like female kokster with no black dorsal to trick ppl.

yes. But males and females are usually tucked in and protrude for breeding.

But yours is sticking out. Which could mea that she's got eggs or wanting to breed.
 
Oh I see. My male is white eyed, which I hear is usually sterile. Should I let them get together anyhow? May be his only chance to get laid since his home is almost done cycling. I do think the couples rather young. But he seems very interested and doesn't snap at her through glass unless I just fed him. Honestly rather she not get hurt.

Use egg crate divider so they having opening wall to breed through if they really want to breed. That way you wont have any of them damage. put a SMALL clay plate/sheet right under the divider.

Some fhs are sterile and some are very fertile.
Some are mildly fertile ( hitting fraction of times tried).
Some need age to become sterile to fertile.
Some can be fertile but then later become sterile when too old(this Im assuming, but the rest are facts).
