Roger I can do that. I'll PM you the details. Let me go there and see if they are still selling species that have no business being in a walmart I.E. puffers, silver dollars, black sharks etc etc etc. then I will message that info. I haven't been to either store in several weeks/months.
Excellent Ranger PK87!
Thats exactly the spirit we look for in the Corps.
Get out there and spread Puffer Awareness!
I also pursue the welfare of the Dragon fish, Oscars, parrots, crabs, and all other "non-beginner" species. Education is key. A knowledgeable Walmart manager is an AWARE Walmart manager.
Those fish need proper attendance to their diet and water parameters. Walmart is woefully ill-equipped for species that require advanced fish-husbandry. Most tragic are the Puffers, who die from starvation because Walmart doesn't carry frozen or fresh food. They have been instructed by the supplier to feed fish flakes, so every Walmart Puffer is doomed to die there.
Walmart DOES carry dried shrimp, which Dragons and others might eat if they are hungry enough. Oh what a tragic sight to see the majestic Dragon, or proud Puffer so defeated they will eat a flake. It truly saddens the heart of those who know the emotional intelligence of these noble creatures.
You can grab a can of shrimp off the self and give it to the Manager. They will listen if you explain.
I can also connect you with our Face Book archives, where you are welcome to peruse our vast library of articles. I encourage you to take any materials you need., and can also provide my ( too hot for the media to handle) Press Release to hand to the manager, along with my business card, if he has any questions.
Thank you for your support. I await your transmission with confidence.
