im going to set up a 75 gallon tank what do i need for it this is my first time having a fish tank . do i need to put anything in the water for the fish to stay alive i just need some one to tell me how to do it

you need to cycle your tank first for a month, then check water parameters and adjust accordingly to what fish you want.
how would i cycle the tank this is new to me can i just put the fish in like some kind of gold fish
when i put the new water in can i put them in right away or is there something ti need to put in the water
i don't know your water parameters...so i can't really tell you to put fish in it.....but where i'm from, i put'um in.
I hate to step on any toes here but if you go to your LFS and pick up some Cycle the tanks could be ready in 10-14 days easy. I use it every time and ust set up my 120 it was ready for my Oscars in 16 days. Don't forget to use water conditioner, and would recommend using the Cycle weekly for the next month, it tells you how to on back. Absolutly have water tested before adding any fish. Also depending on the type of fish you are adding may need to add all together at once so you don't have a certain one claiming dominancy. Hope this helps...
i got the water in it already and i got the little rock and a some other things in it i got a heater and a filter and my brother put some type a conditioner in the water and some water clarifier and stress zyme i put the water in like an hour ago i just want to know how long i got to wait to put them in
