Mopani has a LOT of tannins. I have a piece that I swear I've has in water for at least 3 years (I've had it for like 10, but in various terrestrial reptile setups too) and it still turns my turtle tank DARK brown in about a week
Ok, I'm back. We bought Stability, Prime, and Clarity. After 2.5hrs the clarity has done nothing to the tank :/ I'm going to test the water again tomorrow to see what the levels are. The mopani is still outside in the pool.
