endly only
Recently picked-up a wc sumatran water monitor,
eating well and has a great temperament . I notice replacing his water I saw something that looks like tapeworm.
anything I can do to cure this problem ?

Provide proper temps (130+ degree basking spot) proper humidity, (deep soil substrate helps) clutter the cage with hiding places, and handle him as little as possible. Stress and improper conditions allow parasites to survive in them, if they aren't stressed and have proper conditions, their bodies will sort the problem out on their own.

make sure you have a big enough bowl he can submurge itself and swim water monitor need water i use to let mine swim in the bath every other day in warm water

Check on all mentioned above.
any meds or cure ? I have kids in the house that might play with him the future, should I be worried of the internal parasite ?

x2.

There really are no 100% safe home treatments for internal parasites as you have to be very careful when dosing meds and must take many factors such as the animal's weight into consideration.

Also, assuming that it's an baby or juvenile, sticking to a daily feeding regimen may help to flush out any parasites because it will be passing waste on a daily basis as a result; said regimen will also help to keep it in excellent health.

Like mentioned it can pass them out with time and proper care. De-wormers usually do more bad then good, especially if you were to breed the particular animal in the future (not saying your monitor, just any reptile in general).
