Looking forward to it. Hopefully you get the syphon started with out issues. Some guys use two 90's and don't glue the joints, then rotate it to point down after the water starts flowing. Then you gota get your pump turned on in time before the water level gets two low. Once you have the syphons started and your pump is flowing then you need to adjust your ball valves to control the flow and balance your system.

Great suggestion, I have a pretty good idea now on what I have to do. I'll probably do all the pipework on sunday. I'll post some pictures when I'm done

I have a question. Does the durso pipe do a full siphon or not? Or is it just a quieter version of a straight pipe?

full siphon > durso pipe in terms of flow?

try silencing all the intakesd it might keep the lines fill once you got them going

ooooppppsss i didnt see that was a multiple page thread my bad

i just lost the war with that problem and had to build a new stand for my tank. ended up with a 4 inch drain pipe and now i have no problem what so ever just ugly as hell!!

dang... i just made my 2'' and thought it was a beast.

Yeah, I just put in a 2" drain in my 360 system, wow, that can move some water. I can't imagine needing a larger drain!
