HELP! what happned? so it dosent keep happening

Alot of missing info . water parameters and pics of the fish before it died would be helpful. With out this type of info people can only guess. I have 8" fronts with 2" fronts not a probelm. You aslo can keep more than two fronts in a 75g. I have never seen a front eat another front.I have seen thim beat each other up pretty good when breeding or when there are two males in a smaller group.

Sounds like fin rot. Test your water first. Do a big water change. Idk for sure without a picture. When in doubt do a water change.
