Guys! need your help, i just bought a baby RTC x TSN hybrid, but it doesn't eat.. i fed him choped fish, feeders that will fit in his mouth but he ignored it.

I know maybe he is just stressed with his new tank, but I'm worried.. any advice for his diet? thanks!

How long has he be in the new home?
If all your params are within reason I would give it time to settle in, then worry about it eating everything in the tank.

Bloodworms, and krill....that's what mine was started on. And...please don't take offense but you should always research a fish before purchasing it and also find out what it's been eating. When a living creature comes through the door of my house it becomes part of the family. Think of it that way, and treat your new family member as such. What's your tank size/future POND size, and filtration system like?

it's his 3rd day! haha! yeah i know he'll eat everything in the future. just got worried becuase my RTC before eats everything and anything in front of him.

When I dropped a food and fell in front of him he moved a little bit towards the food and he was hesitant. I think he's okay based on that action?? :)

Hi! thanks for the advice.. :)

Yep, i researched and I already have an adult RTC, it's just that I don't want him to die.. :(

Should be fine if all else is in order.

I have had RTC not eat for almost a week when first introduced but now can't stop it from eating all it's tankmates.

That's great! You must have one heck of a tank/pond! How bigs your rtc?? Got any pics or video? Here's mine after 4 months starting as just tiny baby!
