That's shocking that it states it's safe with rays.
I had a similar situation recently where my Arowana had fungus and i was advised by my LFS to use a certain product after clearly stating i want something which was safe with rays.
After hearing from members off here it was clearly unsafe.
How is the ray now? Still doing the water changes?
I think you're well within your right to make a formal complaint!
