none......save up for a better looking piece....

its free right? why wait?:irked:

choose from 1, 2 & 3. get the one with the broadest body and biggest head hump. colors vary from fish to fish anyway, the broadness of the body and the size of the hump are the most sought after criteria

i'd prefer #3... looks cool... let me kno what u decide on finally!!

oh i have a question.... i have an 8 inch red dragon flowerhorn and he is very scared and jittery when i turn the aquarium light on.... the light is only 50watt and yet its very scared, wont eat, wont move, wont respond at all... why is he acting like that? does anyone on MFK kno what i could do to get him accustomed to the light? if so, please let me kno....

thanks so much...

by the way, im new in this site so i didnt kno how to start a new thread, so found a flowerhorn thread and posted here... sorry its my first time...

oh and the water ph and quality in my flowerhorn's tank is all in the green zone... he jus hates it when i turn the aquarium light on.... so yeah, if you kno of any solution or can relate to this situation, please let me kno... thanks so much....

My FH freaks out a little when I turn the lights on (or off for that matter) too. Nothing to worry about.

hmmm... ok... but the thing is, he doesnt eat or move at all when the light is turned on... only when i turn it off, he'll swim around slightly and then eat a bit and go sit back in his place....

2 and 3 have awesome coloration
but 5 seems to be also a good specimen but at the moment looks just a little stressed and might be taxing his colors

Maybe you should dim the tank lights. I use aluminum foil to block out some light in my tanks. Lower light should help him relax.
