I have two large about hand size red hook silver dollars. I also have a small 2inch datnoid in my qt tank who just got a clean bill of Health and is now On pellets. I want to know if you guys think that it would be ok to move the datnoid in the big tank with the two silver dollars? I'm 50/50 on the idea myself I want to hear others experience about the matter.

Do large silvers on average try to eat smaller fish?

Not sure if they'd eat him, but they may bully him as they can be nippy, he may end up with shredded fins and not coming out due to him being scared resulting to him not feeding. I wouldn't do it personally. Don't think they'll kill him outright and eat him, but if he dies they may nibble on his corpse.
