I got a 300 gallon Rubbermaid stock tank and the drain on it keeps leaking I tried everything I could think of tightening, reversing it and using Teflon tape. It's not leaking from the plug it's coming from the actual fitting.

Any ideas on what I could do?

I was thinking of using 2" pvc and having a 2" piece run thru the hole and using two couplings butting them up together tight against the tank on the inside and outside and gluing it all. I'd also add the other fittings to cap it all off lol
