You are going to have to explain this more for us to offer help. The best I can do is suggest looking up greatstuff backgrounds

sorry, I'm on new meds so everything is a jumble. it's going to be a salt water tank with tangs, an eel and a puffer I would like to add some form of live plants. I am going to make my own sump so everything is still in the air. I was thinking about the synergy ghost overflow. ideas?

For a background take some 50 pound fishing line and tie one end to rocks on the bottom and tie the other end to something heavi ish on the back of the tank on the ground, using thread tie live plants to the string(I've seen similar setups for fresh water)
