Hi i am new to the site. looks good and every one sounds friendly and helpful.

i posted in the wrong place at first i think
I used to keep fish and have just started again, i have angels this time and they are new for me i've never kept them before and had the tank all set up as per normal let it rest/settle before introducing new fish. i got my fish today climatised them before putting in to the tank i have 2 angels but have since realised i should have 4-6 so will get some more, but one of them seems to be staying at the top/surface of the water and not moving much. i thought oh it is in shock thought i might lose it but i turned off the light breifly and it started swimming around and came away from the surface. so no gulping at air i presume that is a good sign i have dipsticked my water and water quality falls in the ideal range. water temp is 25 degree C. the other angel is at the lower part of the tank and quite happy with the other fish, are they attracted to light? do i need to turn the temp up? whilst the light is on it just stays constantly at the surface. any advice greatfully received.
i also have 2 x female guppys
1 x male guppy
1 x molly
1 x swordtail
2 x neon tetra
i am stocking slowly. i was going to get a male betta but was adviced it would attack my guppys
i kept them together before no probs the guppys bread and everything
, yet i have read the angels may attack and eat the guppys and tetra
and was not warned about this
so heres to keeping my fingers crossed they are ok together
